About the Role
The main purpose of the Store Support & Customer Service Officer role is to support and fulfill Bed Bath N’ Table’s customer service needs across digital platforms and retail stores. This includes providing daily point-of-sale and customer support, as well as adapting to the evolving requirements of the business as it expands, ensuring a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
- Customer Support & Communication: Deliver prompt, professional customer service across channels, ensuring all communication is on-brand and well-documented.
- Issue Resolution & Escalation: Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate customer or technical issues, maintaining smooth resolution workflows.
- Process Improvement: Support the development of service processes and provide feedback to enhance customer experience.
- Order & Operations Management: Coordinate with logistics partners and manage bulk orders to ensure efficient fulfillment.
- Retail Support: Assist store teams with customer-related processes, issues, and escalations.
About You
Customer service focus is key to being successful in this role as well as the ability to handle a range of customer interactions, whether positive or challenging with professionalism, patience, and diplomacy.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, helpful, and capable of making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment while staying aligned with company policies and brand standards.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong product knowledge and confident communication skills.
- Proficient in POS, Magento, and RMS systems.
- Familiar with Freshdesk and general online/IT systems.
- Skilled in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and customer de-escalation.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
