We’re seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator to join our People Team, supporting our retail, warehouse and head office teams across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. This role reports to and works closely with the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner and is ideal for someone looking to step up, or an experienced coordinator seeking a supportive yet autonomous role.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a key support role within the HSW function. While the role is mentored and supported by the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner, the Coordinator must also be capable of working independently, thinking critically and managing WorkCover and return-to-work matters through to safe and sustainable capacity.
Our current HSW environment includes a high level of manual processes. We are actively progressing through a digital transformation, implementing DoneSafe and SOLV as our end-to-end environmental safety and injury management platforms. Experience with these systems (or similar) will be highly advantageous.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate WorkCover and inherent requirement (non-work related) claims
- Support return-to-work planning and injury management
- Maintain accurate claims, incident and injury records and trackers
- Liaise with insurers, rehab providers, medical practitioners and stakeholders
- Support safety communications, reporting and safety roll-outs
- Assist with wellbeing initiatives, risk assessments and incident investigations
ABOUT YOU
You are a detail-driven health, safety and wellbeing professional who values sound judgement, accountability and collaboration.
You will bring:
Solid experience in health, safety and wellbeing, WorkCover or return-to-work coordination, ideally within a retail or multi-site environment
- Demonstrated capability supporting injury management and return-to-work outcomes to safe and sustainable capacity
- Strong working knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation and injury management principles
- Confidence working in manual or evolving HSW environments
- Experience using HSW, injury or incident management systems (experience with DoneSafe and/or SOLV will be looked on favourably)
- Strong Excel and administrative skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive, adaptable mindset with the confidence to work autonomously while being mentored by a Business Partner
